We’re Melinda and Rob, owners and hosts of ADK Aframe in Jay, NY. As hosts, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional and relaxing experience for you and your family during your stay. Our goal is to ensure that ADK Aframe feels like a special retreat that will help create memories that will last you a lifetime.

Outside of being hosts for ADK Aframe, we both work in the environmental non-profit sector. Melinda works for a river research center as a fluvial geomorphologist studying human impacts on rivers, improving river management, and enabling river restoration, while Rob works for a local land trust assisting municipalities in community planning and helping landowners identify and implement environmental stewardship opportunities on their property.

Our family are great lovers of the outdoors, which is one reason we all enjoy the Adirondacks so much. In our spare time, we enjoy hiking, skiing, biking, gardening, exploring, and watching our children compete in their sports programs.
