Welcome to our luxury mid-century modern A-Frame cabin! Located on a quiet road, this amazing space serves as a relaxing retreat for you to recharge after adventure filled days hiking, biking, paddling, fishing and skiing. Our pet-free home features all new furnishings and modern comforts. The neighborhood includes private hiking/X-Country skiing trails, open space with a lake, and Ausable River access. Grocery store and many dining options are within a 10 min drive.

Our newly built home is located in the Adirondacks State Park near the High Peaks region and abundant outdoor activities:
-15 minutes to the Olympic Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort
-10 minutes to Wilmington, Santa's Workshop, dining, and gas station
-10 minutes to AuSable Forks, small grocery store, gas
-25 minutes to Lake Placid, Olympic Museum, shopping and fine dining
-25 minutes to Keene Valley
-30 minutes to Au Sable Chasm
-40 minutes to Saranac Lake

Neighborhood highlights
Our neighborhood is a forested, quite area with mostly second homes and vacation rental homes on 1-2 acre wooded lots. Our association maintains open space near a lake, gentle hiking and xc skiing trails, Ausable River access, and tennis courts open for your use with no extra fees. The roads are well maintained year round, but can be snow covered in winter due to salt restrictions to protect the environment. The main roads are paved, but the minor roads are well-packed gravel. Please drive slowly once off the main roads as many people walk and bike on the roads year round.
Getting around the neighborhood
Walking and/or biking on our neighborhood roads and trails is common. We have space for 4 cars in our driveway. Parking on the road is not allowed.
House Rules
The booking guest is responsible for the behavior of all other guests during their stay. Any violations or damages shall be the responsibility of the booking guest.
Children: Our home is not child-safe because of the style of our balcony railing, which is easily climbed. As a result, we do not permit guests under the age of 8 years old in order to protect their safety.
Finally, we want you to have a good time, but please note that we do have quiet hours and in general no excessive noise is permitted - this is a quiet peaceful neighborhood and we love our neighbors!
No parties or events
No smoking or vaping of any kind (including Hookahs) inside or outside on the property
Absolutely no candles or other open flames indoors
No fireworks
No scent infusers or misters or incense
No glitter or confetti or helium balloons
No tape or other adhesives on wall/ceiling surfaces or furniture
No commercial photography or videography without written consent
No outside service providers
No firearms permitted inside or outside on the property
No pets
If you use the BBQ grill, please clean it afterwards
Garbage and recycling should be placed in the provided bins
Please remove makeup using provided disposable pads to avoid staining towels and sheets
Cancellation Policies
100% refund 48 hours after booking accepted, if booking is requested at least 14 days before check-in
100% refund 30 days before check-in
50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. We still refund 100% of the cleaning fee, including any taxes associated with it.
All cancellation policies expire at check-in.
We strongly recommend you consider travel insurance to protect you from unforeseen incidents that may require you to cancel your planned vacation.
Terms and Conditions
Our direct bookings are managed by Hospitable.com and Change Automation (for the rental agreement and security deposit). When completing the reservation, it is the guests responsibility to review the Hospitable Terms and Conditions, a link for which can also be found at the bottom of any page during the check-out procedure. In addition, any direct booking guest will be required to provide a security deposit (equal to one nights stay) and agree to our rental contract (shown here) within 48 hours of the booking (this will be done through Change Automation, not Hospitable). Failure to do so will result in the booking being canceled.
Booking Process
The direct booking process does result in several emails. Below is a description of each step of the process. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out by using the Contact Us link above and we’d be happy to help.
Upon booking you will receive an email from Hospitable.com to complete Guest Verification. Click on the link in the email and follow the prompts to complete Guest Verification.
Upon successful completion of the Guest Verification process, you will receive a confirmation email of your booking from Hospitable.com. Your booking process at this stage is not quite compete.
Within a few minutes you will receive a welcome email from us, via Hospitable.com, that includes a link to pay your security deposit and check a box that you agree to our rental contract. The link in the email will take you to Change Automation’s website to complete this process.
Upon agreeing to the rental contract and paying the security deposit, you will receive a final email from support@changeautomation.com informing you that you have completed Pre Check-In. Your reservation is complete. Ten days prior to you stay, you will receive an email from us, via Hospitable.com, providing you will check-in details (address, door code, etc.), as well as links to our guide book and customized Google Map of local recommendations. At any time, please feel free to reach out via the Contact Us link.
